What are Multiples and Factors?

What are multiples?

Multiples of a number are found by multiplying it with a whole number (integers).

Example:
8 × 2 = 16
So, 16 is a multiple of 8 and 2.

What are factors?

Factors are numbers that divide another number exactly, without leaving a remainder.

Example:
21 ÷ 3 = 7
So, 3 is a factor of 21.
